Pricing and Schedule

Ironside Medieval Combat  has uniquely designed training equipment specifically created to drill and teach sword skills.  This specialty equipment cannot be purchased or found anywhere else.  Our location is the only gym in Colorado specifically designed to handle the wide variety of sword fighting training and sparing.  We have floors that are durable enough to handle the robust and hard use of fully armored fighting.  In addition, wrestling mats can easily be added to the training area for technical training to avoid injuries.

Discounts

  • If students sign up for automatic payments they get $5 off a month
  • If students sign up for 6 month contract they will get their 7th month 50% off
  • If students sign up for 12 month contract they will get $15 off a month with automatic payments Or the 13th month free without automatic payments.
If students choose not to go with automatic payments they will be asked to pay for their first and last month at the start of their membership. Signing up for automatic payments waives the prepay requirement for the last month.

A La Carte Pricing

We are all about choices and like to give our students the best deals possible.  With that in mind there are a lot of combinations perspective students can make to best suit their interest and needs.

Students need to first choose which monthly package they want.  Once they have chosen a monthly package they can add extra add-ins based on their interest.

First Choose – Monthly Membership

We have multiple membership packages to choose from to best suit your learning style and schedule.  Our membership is now based on number of classes per week instead of per individual.  That means if a family or couple want to take classes together they can be covered under a single membership:

  • Kids Membership – $75 for 2 classes for 30 minutes each a week. Purchase a one month membership
  • Introduction/Belly Dancing Membership – $65 for 1 class for 1 hour a week.  Or 2 classes for 30 minutes a week.  This is great for people who are only interested in taking our dancing classes. Purchase a one month membership
  • Basic Membership – $115 for 2 classes for 1 hour each a week.  This also includes open gym. Purchase a one month Basic Membership
  • Premium Membership – $130 for 4 classes for 1 hour each a week.  This also includes open gym and our fitness class. Purchase a one month Premium Membership
  • Elite Membership – $150 for 8 classes for 1 hour each a week.  This also includes open gym and our fitness class. Purchase a one month Elite Membership
  • Iron-man Membership – $200 for 12 classes a week.  This also includes open gym, all fitness classes, and level 2 nutrition.  The Iron-man membership is a great all inclusive membership the gives members a discount of 4 extra free classes a week!

Punch Cards – If monthly memberships don’t work

This is a flexible option for students who want to train a limited time each month. Punch cards are sold with 8 stamps at a time for a price of $160.
  • 55 minute classes, such as sword fighting and fitness classes, have a base price of $20. They equal 1 stamp each for the punch card.
  • 30 minute classes, such as belly dancing, have a base price of $10. They equal 1/2 a stamp each for the punch card.

Second Choice – Add-ins

In addition to our new membership offers we are adding new services. We are adding physical fitness classes specifically tailored for fighters who want to compete internationally. These fitness routines are custom written by one of the best personal trainers in the business, Duncan McCallum. But wait, there’s more! We are adding nutrition counseling, meal planning, food lists, and discounts on the best nutrition products on the market. These services can be added to any membership offer listed above.

There are three types of fitness aerobic, muscle strengthening, and flexibility.

  • Aerobic is commonly misnamed as cardio exercise.  This describes any activity that raises your heart rate and keeps it up for an extended period of time.
  • Muscle Strengthening entails both the ability to lift heavy objects and working your muscles longer and harder (endurance).
  • Flexibility which comes from stretching.  Your muscles are repeatedly shortened when they are used, especially when exercising.  They need to be slowly and regularly stretched to counteract the repeated shortening that happens through other activities

Our fitness program is designed to incorporate all three of the fitness types in order to enhance performance.   Just like our classes we offer three levels of fitness for students to choose from.

  • Level 1 – is free and built into our intermediate classes.  We spend 15 minutes of our 55 minute intermediate class doing intro level high intensity interval training or HIIT.  HIIT is a great way to loose weight, get in shape, and build stamina.
  • Level 2 – is an additional $25 a month.  The extra fee helps pay for one of the best personal trainers in the business, Duncan McCallum.  Duncan custom writes our advanced HIIT workouts with fully armored steel fighting in mind.  He knows first hand the physical demands of our sport and helps train the body to withstand its punishments.  These workouts are offered during our advanced classes and usually last 30 minutes
  • Level 3 – If these workouts are not enough Duncan also offers personalized workouts.  Contact us for more details.

Following the same pattern as skills and fitness, we have three different and unique programs for nutrition.

  • Level 1 -Ironside Medieval Combat has a partnership with 5 Star Nutrition.  5 Star Nutrition offers free consultations with their Inbody composition analysis and customized meal planning with no extra cost to ensure you reach your nutrition goals.  All Ironside Members get a 25% discount with 5 Star Nutrition for any supplements and vitamins they may want to purchase.
  • Level 2 – For an extra $25 a month Janeal Ironside will work with any Ironside member to create a customize meal plan, provide a recommended food list, healthy recipes, and connect you with people who are also starting on their nutrition journey.
  • Level 3 –  For people who want to revolutionize their nutrition goals we also offer full nutrition packages.  These packages will change your life, and with them come huge discounts with Ironside Memberships.

Private Lessons

One on one instruction with an instructor of your choice is $60

  • Private lessons are great for students wanting to accelerate their lessons.
  • Private lessons can be used to get extra work in before a competition.
  • Private lessons are done in 55 minute sessions

Open Gym

Open Gym is several hours long, and happens once a week. This is a time for both Ironside Members and an opportunity for non members to have open mat sparring, workout, or get some extra practice in. Theses times do not have structured instruction time. However, the Ironside coach’s can always be found giving fighters tips and training as they spar.
